We’re already at the tail-end of January 2018 and soon we’ll be welcoming a brand new Lunar New Year mid-February. Time and tide waits for no man, they say. It’s about the same case for the cars that goes under the hammer at our auction houses – G-Mart Hulu Langat and Subang.
The year started lukewarmly, but the final auction of January held on the 25th at our Subang Auction House saw a remarkable increase in bidders and successful bids. We hope that was a preview of the future trends for 2018. A total of 150 Lots went under the hammer on the 25th and over half of them were snapped up. We have invested substantially to upgrade our business and we are set to continue the efforts of bringing our sellers and bidders a renewed experience at both our auction houses.
The newly introduced G-Mart Online Auction system that was introduced last year has made bidding atour auctions a breeze. The real-time bidding system allows bidders to place bids in the comfort of their own armchair. This year we aim to further upgrade the system and facilities for a smoother flow of the auction process.
