6 additional benefits of Imported Vehicles Insurance Package (IVIP)
Great news for recond car owners, the Imported Vehicles Insurance Package (IVIP) tailored exclusively for reconditioned vehicles by Zurich Takaful in collaboration with APEG System Sdn. Bhd is now available for newly registered and existing reconditioned vehicles. The package features additional benefits on top of the regular coverage of a basic policy.
Here are 6 of the additional benefits:
1) Unlimited Towing Assistance
Unlimited 24-hour nationwide within Malaysia (excluding islands except Penang, Langkawi and Labuan) towing assistance with no distance limit (excluding toll charges). The base coverage usually provides Free Towing for a limited mileage only.
2) Personal Accident Coverage
PA coverage of up to RM20,000 per person (driver/passengers) in the event of an accident which result bodily injury or disablement. This is double the amount compared to a basic policy of up to RM10,000 per person.
3) Flood Relief Allowance
A relief allowance of RM5000.00 should your vehicle be damaged due to flash flood, overflowing of waterways, drains, rivers or mudslides. For the non-IVIP policies, vehicle owners would have to select this as a paid option.
4) Car Replacement Allowance
An allowance of RM150.00 per day up to a maximum of three (3) days for the repair period recommended by our adjuster and the repair carried out at an authorized repairer.
5) Unnamed Driver
The compulsory excess of RM400.00 will be waived unless the driver is under the age of 21 years old and/or holds a Provisional (P) or Learner (L) license.
6) Key Replacement Coverage
Coverage for loss or damage of key of up to RM1500.00 for one (1) set of key due to actual or attempted theft, robbery or house break-in.
